Step 1

The Wind

STEP 1: WIND THEORY, EQUIPMENT SET UP, SAFETY SYSTEMS & KITE CONTROL

Do you want to master "The Elements" and discover the sport of kiteboarding? We start by teaching you how to assess the spot and evaluate conditions.

  • Theory of wind, weather and hazards on the beach
  • S.E.A. (Spot, Environment, Activity) Assessment
  • Kite Set Up & Pre-Flight Check
  • Usage of the 3 steps safety systems

Step 2

The Water

STEP 2: WATER RELAUNCH, SELF RESCUE, BODYDRAGS & WATER START

It’s time to connect with the water. This is where the fun begins.

  • Enter and Exit the Water While Controlling the Kite
  • Water Relaunch
  • Self-Rescue and Pack Down Discovery
  • Side Body Drag with 2 Hands

Step 3

Wind & Water

STEP 3: BECOMING AN INDEPENDENT RIDER

Learn to be a medium between two elements. Master tools like riding up wind and controlling your speed by edging.

  • Controlled Stop
  • Control of Riding Speed by Edging
  • Self-Launching & Self-Rescue
  • Riding Up Wind & Toe-Side Riding

Step 4

The Fire

STEP 4: JUMPS, RECOVERY & ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE

Time for some advanced skills. Add some FIRE into your session by learning to jump, jibe, and recover riders.

  • Basic Jump & Jump with Grab
  • Jibe turns
  • Rider & Board Recovery
  • International Kiteboarding Signs and R.O.W
